Sorry, i was referring to the trinity. i grew up catholic and went to a catholic churh so that was the only time i really heard bout the trinity. once i started going to baptist church, I never really about the trinity much
i could definitely be wrong |
nah, I think its central to all christians. I hear a lot of southern preachers talkin about catching "the holy ghost" which is part of the holy trinity. I've also heard references to "the father" and "son of God" by protestants. Also, in islam, we think that christianity is actually a form of polytheism because of the 3 forms of god. I'm not sure what makes catholics different from protestants though.

this could be a good read by the morning. i sure hope so.
i dont know though op...i've never had anyone preaching about fear to me...i sorta learned about it on my own...(i mean i've learned about being punished for sins and all)why would i want to deal with all this trouble on earth and then suffer for all eternity? doesnt make sense...but at the end of the day...you make the choices and decide where it is you want to go. get some hot chocolate and a kjv and read.

I see what your saying. I think one of my biggest problems as a person is it hard for me to make my own decisions, I usually ask others for what I should do instead of deciding for myself. I need to change that about myself now that I think about it

i thought being part of a christian is following the teachings of jesus christ. anyways OP, there is no faith without doubt.
anyone who claims to be a teacher is usually a fool. you will always be a student, and enjoy your ride to becoming 'saved'. nothing wrong with doubt.

sounds like you need to get in your bible and learn for yourself. you cant always go by what others have told you, you have to know for yourself. if you start wondering about the other side....man...you'll be headed for trouble. i dont remember God/Jesus sayin this life would be easy. its all about keeping your faith and trusting the one who gave you life. meh..i'll just say dont turn your back on him.
