youtube is a great resource .....when i started doing sew-ins i watched a lot of mschanda videos.....definetly use a net....good luck!!!!

I usually have about 4 or 5 C-needles handy and threaded. make sure you know where you want your part and that you leave out enough hair. I remember my first attempt at a self install, I had way too much hair left out almost half. Now I leave out the bare minimum.

Also there is a self install thread on here.  Good Luck.  Post your results.

Sew thru the ends to secure. Fold wefts till you get to the top.  Use a net for a flatter base and if you are not good at braiding.

youtube has all sorts of videos on sew in tutorials
but whn doing yo braids the smaller the better (flat install)
and you could do the fold over method to lessen the chance of shedding due to cutting wefts
im not a professional btw but i find it easier using a net because you can sew where there isnt a braid to sew on
i will find the link to some videos and post them

I think you should watch YouTube videos since it will be more beneficial to see a visual.

Hello I am new to this forum . So hello I am Tatyana  Handshake
But anyways I am going to be attempting to do my own sew in by myself and i need some pointers . 
Like on how to start off the tracks how to make sure they are secure any sewing methods . 
So basically i need to know everything from beginning to end . and can you guys also like dumb it down a little so i can understand because i am determined to do this :)
More info :
I am using Freetress Attrak Hair ( I chose cheap hair just to test out)
It is also going to be a full weave with leave out in the front,back and sides for a ponytail and for versatility. 

Will it also be easier for my first time to use a net ?
