espn did a special on jamaal charles, the teamate who introduced javon to his wife's cousin, kasandra. he is pretty torn up about it all and blames himself for even introducing them.

he said he didn't want to play the game the following week because he felt so bad. his team dedicated the game to javon but he said he dedicated it to kasandra.

a judge recently awarded custody of the child to kasandra's family.

Clearly the sport needs a overhaul--from helmut safety, to types of tackles, to decreasing steroid and weight limits of line backers--lots of changes to make the game safer for the players.

So many football players have brain injuries. I pray the NFL develops a long-term care program from the players. Cry

lol Purp-- you'd win boo! too many years in family court to not know the ins and outs.

I hope her cousin talks about her mom to her alllllll the time.

this.

and w/ the money from the estate, the cousin could hire a nanny for the girl.

i hope that this child gets counseling in the future...i really hate how this happened to her.
