I wouldn't say that forgiveness comes naturally..I think letting it go and not worrying about it anymore comes naturally, but to truly forgive a person...that requires work. Especially depending on the circumstances. Understanding should come naturally..because people will disappoint you. If we can really truly understand that, then people wouldn't put themselves in a lot of situations in the first place or wouldn't remain in them.

My sister isn't monogamous. She would have her main man, the one for whom she had feelings for and then she would have other men, because she got presents, etc.

My exes were faithful to me. All three were in love but one of them learned that his father fathered a child with another woman and watching his mother's pain, probably vowed to never do the same to a woman.
I met this girl many years ago who was cheated on and because she was bitter she kept trying to make me insecure and into believing that I was also cheated on. I ignored her.

It's a cop-out. Some people get caught up in the mental game, that they can't commit anymore. Men and women alike. It's bullish say that men can't be monogamous, because I've known plenty of men who can and have committed without issues.

It depends on the person.
Society just highlights the ones doing it, then people start believing the hype..feeding into it. They want to put it in our heads so much that we accept it and believe that it is normal. Eventually turning communities into one big orgy..six degrees of separation...smh..
I never take anyone serious who thinks and talks like that.
