lol waxing may be affordable but it doesn't fix the problem. i used to wax almost every week because the hair seemed to be growing FASTER after every hair removal tool used - tweezing, waxing, hair removal cream or threading.

i have completely 10 hours of elecrolysis and the hair is growing in a much slower pace and it is much less noticeable too.

Waxing is effective and it is long term. You don't need to pluck your hair every week or when it grows. There are also affordable wax that you can buy at the drug store.

And to the ladies who think it is bull... if the woman below could get rid of that hair in 18 months, your peach fuzz can disappear fast. When she took the first pic, she said she counted 250 hairs on her chin

I stand corrected: electrolysis is actually good for dark skinned people and removes hair permanently.
Laser is not good for dark skinned people.

I am currently doing electrolysis, and the first session already got rid of some hairs FO-RE-VER. That's because those hairs were on the anagen phase - meaning, if they are removed, they will no longer grow. Other hairs on my face are still on the telogen phase, which means that it will take a while to get rid of them because they are in the resting phase. If you find a good electrologist, the person will explain it to you before starting the session.

It feels refreshing to no longer need to pluck hairs from my chin. It would grow every 3 days, and I had to be constantly alert, watching my face, and worse, they did not grow at the same time so sometimes it felt like I was plucking every day!

Search for a groupon, search for reviews of the electrologist before buying the deal, and stick to that person. I found a good groupon and my electrologist charges $60 an hour after that, and she is the cheapest I found in LA so far.

the hair grows back.

saw palmetto helps to slow down facial and body hair growth, but don't take a large dose. you need to start with 2 daily and see how that affects your mood and your body.

LASER! I've tried other methods shaving, creams, etc. I recently tried laser again and I'm having great results. A few years ago (like 6) I tried laser and it hurt like HELL and I didn't make it past my second treatment. It didn't help. Luckily I didn't burn or scar, but i gave up. About 3 months ago I decided to try LASER one more time. I was tired of having to shave daily and my skin was starting to get bad (irritated and dark spots) I'm beyond happy with my choice!! It wasn't painful like it was 6 years ago. I can feel it, but it's like a rubber band snap. She uses the Gentle YAG laser. After my first treatment I kept touching my chin. Iis was so smooth. I couldn't believe after just one treatment. I can now go days without doing anything, and there's only a few stray hairs left. I had my second treatment this past Friday, and all was well.

I get laser done every 8 weeks with the Yag laser that's only used for darker skin. Trust me guys it works and its well worth it. The have groupons on laser removals all the time. Just ask the facility before purchasing if they have a YAG laser. Don't listen to any other crap beside YAG cos nothing else besides that one works. Its like a laser that blows air on your skin that's how it feels.
