well dang! Follow up question:

If she's not invited , would you be upset if your future MIL brought her as her guest?

Exes will be invited, though I doubt they would show up.

if the kids are invited to the wedding too, and the two women are on civil/amicable terms, i think its ok.
I think i would go to my x's wedding if he wanted, he's a very good person and still a very good friend.

That's sweet. I think that she and I are too similar to get along...or really even try. It might be different years later but back then all we did was throw shade and make everyone else uncomfortable LOL

I've gotten over it, but my mother-n-law (R.I.P.) used to invite my husband's ex-wife to Thanksgiving and place her seat right to hers. And then my MIL would wonder why we never came for holidays Ermm

Yeah, they do the absolute most, but they seem like genuine friends.

BB, that's more than civil LOL.

My DB and his ex wife can't even be invited to the same events without somebody getting mad. And they've been divorced 20+years.

No, but a kid's mother at my school was in her ex-husband's wedding as a bridesmaid.

She and her fiance got married the following month and the ex-husband and his wife were in the wedding as well.

Their situation is very bizarre but they seem adult about it. That, or they're all getting it in
