Oh wow thankyou!! not sure what latching is but on my way to youtube right now... and it seems very easy to do. the latch hooks are very cheap...

I only retwist the front of my hair come a few times a week because they come undone abut i just stopped today because i don't want to overtwist them.

Should I start latching them now or wait until they loc up?

btw thats some valuable info right there ive been trying to find out how to maintain small dreads on my own.. locticians are expensive i really appreciate the advice

do you feel comfortable posting a pic

Thats true I just used it on my hair, they look really small, but I think the micros look better on a woman, thanks for the info though, now I gotta figure out how I'm going to retwist them once they grow out.. my hair is really short, gonna take awhile to grow anyways.

I used it on my brothers hair and his parts a much bigger than mine, but his hair is longer, I think if you use it on short hair.

You're welcome sis! Yeah the micros may be pretty to start, but thin locs tend to snap. Becareful. You may opt to get them latched/interloced vs palm rolling as palm rolling will cause them to get even thinner over time.
