Ok so ive been trying to slim for a while and Gym only worked when i had someone with me telling me to push harder.

Since i got my Nintendo Wii been in awe with all the exercise games and really enjoyed the Wii Fit. It does work you out but it WONT give fast results. I used EA Active 2 for 3 months and managed to lose around 14lbs. 7lbs made allot of difference to my appearence and 14 just made my clothes loose! The game is magic becuase it is what it says on the back (ok maybe i summarised what it says), "personal trainer in your home".

I did a workout yesterday which i was told by my virtual trainer was going to be more focused on the legs and core. Today, bending down hurts and i feel the burn that the muscles have been worked!

Now onto Zumba... I can lose around 250 calories playing one of their 5 song short classes (Zumba 2)! Thats like 5 oreo cookies :D Dont count the milk becuase its good for you lolz
Its great fun and i could tell that it was toning my calfs becuase they feel the burn at the end of the workout.

Want to lose weight a fun way? Get a Wii, get EA Active sports and get Zumba 2. This is all my oppinion so feel free to drop in and let me know what you think. Im going to be doing an EA workout today (3 missed workouts Ouch).

AMAZING profile pic i really like it! :D

Back on topic lol  I have Zumba and Zumba 2 and they deffinately helped me get into shape. As long as you really put effort into doing the moves and do Zumba for long enough (3 to 4 songs should be enough for a short workout on any Zumba game IMO) you can shed pounds easily Big smile

I want to lose my baby fat, Macdonalds + KFC fat from the years so have tried many different things. There is a fad linked to each one but as long as YOU enjoy it and make sure nothing cames to break your fad then you can lose loads! I gained most of my weight in December 2011 and early 2012 becuase i sprained my shoulder from TOO MUCH EA Active 2 and Zumba. Then had an injury so couldnt exercise at all.

I managed to shed all those pounds gained (around 14lbs+) playing Zumba and slowly phasing in EA Active 2. If you try it holla at this post to tell us about how it went :)

Take Care x

OMG that sounds awsome (i mean if your sweating up a storm then your burning fat like a tornado or something like a storm right? :D)! Which Just dance game is it?  I have the first one in the series and it was fun whilst it lasted (4 days) then i gave up on it becuase i dislike most of the songs those guys put on the Just Dance games :(

I would love a different dancing game that allows me to burn lots of calories though! this sounds like a keeper! I bolderised the name of the game and the mode so people notice it lol

People! Buy ZUMBA 2! EA Active 2! and Just Dance... the one with the sweat mode! *feels their bingo wings melt away at the thought of sweating up a storm* LOL

I love the songs that are on JD3..i even downloaded some of them to my phone to listen to while working out lol...in the just sweat mode, they have lots of categories of music to dance to..i forgot the name of the category i normally chose but its the pic of a sweat drop..(its normally the first one already up when u get to sweat mode)...you can chose between a 7 day challenge or (i believe) a 30 day challenge, or something like that. Then you chose the level of how much u wanna sweat which will determine how many songs u dance to...in each song you build up what i call sweat points and u have to reach a certain amount every day..

Hmm I have jd2 and Zumba. I Ned to get back into it. I'm bored with jd2 because I don't like the songs too much with the exception of outcast and Tina turner( those will wear you out). There is never a Zuma or jd2 challenge

Ok so ive been out of the forum for a while but i wanted to update this posting. I recently got the My Fitness Coach Dance Workout (in the US its called Golds Gym Dance Workout) and Jillian Michaels Ultimatum 2010. Also as i was not happy with the song choices with Just Dance i grabbed a copy of Black Eyed Peas Experience.

Ill start with the Dance Workout to say its VERY entertaining and a real workout. Maybe it was becuase it was hot and i was working out but the game made me sweat ALOT. Mo sweat, Mo better :P  There are plenty of mini games eg running, rowing and there is cardio boxing and latin salsa in the dance area. Nice choice of music including Lady GG's Just Dance which was nice.
5*  (OH! It has a calorie counter too and matches it to food so you know what you have burnt).

Jillian Michaels... Were you ever in the army? I mean seriously this lady is always busting my chops BUT that makes it more fun. I feel like im in a boot camp and once im done ill be like a snake and 150lbs will just slide on the floor like a pile of sludge LOL
The game includes MANY workouts that use the Wii Balence board and the controller. The exercises are things most people know of but the use of the remote in the workout means she really pushes you for perfection (i have to lunge deeper, stretch higher to get "green for good" showing on the screen - thats a good sign!).

Now to the game that i am least impressed with. If you have Zumba, Dance Workout and enjoy them you probably will not enjoy the Black Eyed Peas game. the dances (like Just Dance) are very basic and not chalenging or much of a workout. You end up needing to catch your breath simply trying to follow the dances. Otherwise they are very basic and probably only let you burn 10 calories?
GREAT songs on the game, i like 98% of them which is something i cant say about the Just Dance game series. If you like Just Dance and need something to bridge your stamina from zero to hero then this game is good.

I kinda stopped exercising for a little bit but going to try and get something done today. That means Zumba 2 followed by My Fitness [Golds Gym] Dance Workout and MAYBE Jillian if i have the strength. I hope this post has helped people and TRY the Dance Workout game it is REALLY good :)
Any other games i should try out? Drop a responce!

Ps: EA Active 2 is VERY good for weightloss, better than all the games mentioned here IMO but if you combine with Zumba and other exercise you can lose (I did so maybe someone else can too?) 14lbs in 1 Month. And that is less fat and more muscle for a toned sleek shape :)
