Because having a condition like this is devastating. If it takes bleaching to get rid of this and have some form of normal skin then so be it. What an odd question!

Actually I had an aunt who was your complexion. In my area there were not alot of light-skinned black people so I thought she was white when I was a little kid. She always made me rub her "creams" on her back. 15 years later I realize that cream was nadinola and she was born as dark as Alec Wec! [/QUOTE]
I'm def not denying that SOME of the ppl that bleach desire an ALL OVER lighter complection. But, the OP specifically mentioned "why bleach dark spots?". I would be terrified to use Hydroquinone for YEARS, ALL OVER my body. I spot treat

I thought it was a rather bizarre question as well. and osohot, ITA with you. I currently use Bare Minerals to conceal my dark marks, but my goal is to be able to walk out of the house completely/confidently free of make-up by December/January time-frame.

If you ever had to deal with these horrible spots you would understand! I hate having to wear a lot of foundation to cover them.

Yupp. Im with Cream, we just want a uniform skin color. I lurk in here a lot. I used to have moderate acne, and it left a lot of scars on my face. And as a result i have to wear a lot of foundation which i HATE. And it still doesn't cover it up.
I lurk in skincaretalk a lot too. Some of those women might have self-hate issues. But i doubt most of them do. If they like a certain skin color, why do other people give a rats behind? Thats their business. |
This is what I am talking about I am scared it's going to turn into a skincaretalk bleaching forum |
yeah 'cuz this section is really jumpin off like that

<------- obviously does not need to bleach..wait.. are you serious?? If you must know I have those "dark spots" you think is some type of secret code for bleaching to get lighter. I light complected and my skin acts up from time to time, and after it heals, it leaves a dark spot. Why would someone want uneven skin or dark spots? IF I wanted to bleach to get lighter, then so be it, I'd do it and totally not give a fawk about what ppl think of me. However, I only apply product directly to my dark spots. If I had a dent or scratch in my car's paint, I would want to fix it to match the rest of my car. If I had a hole in my shirt, I would mend it. If I had a scuff on my shoe, I would try to get it off. If I had a stain (essentially what my dark spots are in a sense) in my shirt, wouldn't I bleach it if I could, to make it match again and not be noticeable? what's puzzling about someone wanting uniform color skin? I think that's a no brainer. Why WOULDN'T someone "want to get rid of dark spots so bad?" Should they want to keep them? Maybe the way you worded the question is why I'm confused.. |
