Well, I am oily around the nose area and when I used the Mac liquid foundation, I was not shiny at all in that area! I could not believe it Smile so I would say to give Mac a try. You can always return it if it doesn't work for you. Peace.

I second the revlon colorstay, but make sure you buy the one for combination/oily skin. For a primer I use milk of magnesia, and together with the revlon colorstay, my makeup lasts for about 6 hours (a full day at school) before I have to blot it.

My suggestion for you would be Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet + Matifying Foundation which can be found at Sephora - it's a shine controlling foundation, it's oil-free and provides full coverage.I am sure it will work for you.

Check the Makeup Section. Alof of women have reviewed several MU brands (NARS, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Revlon, Becca, etc.) they've used for oily or combo skin.  HTH
