LIQUID GOLD contains no water, and does not smell like ammonia or formaldehyde. This is why it works so much
better, and can be used in so many more ways.
Dries clear not BLACK or WHITE. LIQUID GOLD is clear, and dries clear or INVISIBLE. All other brands when dry
appears white or black next to the scalp and resembles dandruff.

DO OFF TRACT INVISIBLE BONDING… Because LIQUID GOLD dries clear, it can also be used for bonding OFF THE
WEFT. (See instruction sheet for complete easy to do details.) This procedure can not be done with any other
bonding products.

LIQUID GOLD never has to be reapplied due to drying (all of the others have to be bonded quickly before it dries). In
fact, the drier LIQUID GOLD gets after applied the better it will bond.

LIQUID GOLD bonds up to 5 times stronger, and lasts 5 times longer the others due to this special formula that allows
you to use it in conjunction with thermos. Heat (an ordinary curling iron). See instruction sheet.
Because of the uniqueness of LIQUID GOLD. When compared with all of the other bonding products, mainly that the
weft and the scalp hair are bonded after a short drying time (3-5 minutes) you can also do BOND FUSION without the
need of expensive, sometimes dangerous equipment (see instructions). BOND FUSING is useful for braids,
extensions, duck tails or contrasting colors for streaks, tips or frosting.

Many cosmetologists claim they do not like to press and curl because of the small amount of profit involved. Actually,
there is as much profit or more in pressing and curling as there is in most other services. The average cold wave
permanent on black client takes about two and a half hours from start to finish. The average price received is about
$50.00. Hair relaxing takes about one and a half hours to complete at an average price of about $35.00. A complete
shampoo, press, curls and style takes from forty-five minutes to one hour. The average price received for this service
is about $25.00. When you consider the fact you can do 2 to 3 complete press and curls in the same time it takes to
do one permanent curl; or one and a half press and curls in the time it takes to do a relaxer treatment, you will realize
that based on time per service, your profit margin is close to being the same or more, to put it another way, "How
many jobs are there that pay $25.00 or more per hour?" Also, the press & curl patron will return on the average of
every two weeks, while relaxer and curl patrons stay away from 6 weeks to 3 months. So in the long term you can
realize up to six times more income form the press & curl customer.

Another reason for the black cosmetologist to consider pressing as a serious and important service, is that most of
the majority owned salons that are advertising and encouraging black client are not equipped or have the knowledge
and skills to perform this service. This is one area of professional cosmetology that the black cosmetologist own and
control for the most part, so take advantage of it.

DIRECTIONS FOR HAIR FUSING:
Due to the fact that Liquid Gold will bond when dry and dries clear, you can perform other services that are
impossible to do with other bonding products. One is BOND FUSING. Liquid Gold Bond Fusing is faster, easier, safer
and more realistic looking then the glue gun method. With the glue gun you have to stay at least 1/8 of a inch from
the scalp (this is the equivalent to about three (3) weeks of new growth) The glue stick used is mostly wax and will dry
hard, this may be irritating to the scalp and could melt off if a curling iron got to close. Liquid Gold can be applied
close to the scalp, dries soft, pliable, invisible and will not melt off. Here is how it is done….
Make a disk from ½ of a business card (see diagram on instruction sheet) The purpose of the disk is to keep the
bond from accidentally getting on the hair surrounding the fusing area, thus avoiding a clean up later.
Take a small section of patrons natural hair, twist it once or twice, slide it through slit in disk to the hole in the enter of
disk. Place the disk as close to the scalp as possible. Apply the bond with the brush around the base of the hair close
to the disk. Take the commercial hair to be fused, clip blunt at the ends. Flair the hair like a paint brush, apply the
bond all around the hair close to the ends. Allow to dry for about 3-5 minutes (or until no longer wet to the touch).
Place the hair to be fused to fusing area on natural hair with your thumb and forefinger, pinch and roll the added hair
around natural hair. Using a warm curling iron, place the fusing area between the shell and the barrel of the curling
iron. Close lightly for about three (3) seconds, reposition the iron and repeat. Round the section off with your fingertip
you are going to be fusing on many sections, you do not have to wait 3-5 minutes for each to dry before going on to
the next section, to do so will take up a lot of unnecessary time to complete.
Due to the fact that Liquid Gold will still bond even when dry, you can prepare 20 to 30 sections of hair to be fused
with the bond, lay them out on a table (on wax paper and then fuse them on one by one at your own pace.

OFF TRACK (NO WEFT) HAIR TO HAIR INVISIBLE BONDING:
People, who really need Hair Weaving due to thinning hair of alopecia conditions, cannot enjoy the results of hair
weaving, because they do not have enough natural hair to hide the weft. Therefore, hair weaving is confined to those
who just want a different look. People who really need it because of lack of natural hair to disguise the weft cannot.
With the Liquid Gold revolutionary method and specially formulated system, this is no longer a problem.
DIRECTIONS:
Due to the fact that Liquid Gold dries clear and will bond when dry on both the added hair and the natural hair, you
can provide the following services.
Most hair for weaving is two smaller separate tracks sewed together. Using a razor blade or shears, split the wefts
apart. (This will compare to the patrons own thinning hair). Apply the bond to the hair just BELOW the weft, as close
to the weft as possible (not on the weft) on BOTH SIDES of the wefted hair, then to the parted natural hair close to the
scalp (not on the scalp). Lay weft on parted scalp so that the bonded area below weft will be where bond is on natural
hair. Press on with the back of a styling comb, then seal lightly with a warm curling iron. Cut away weft with shears.
The parting will make a perfect channel to cut away the weft without cutting the natural hair. If done correctly, the
added hair should look and feel as though it is growing from the scalp. Always apply the bond with thin even strokes.
If you apply the bond to heavily, it will show through and not look natural. Applying the bond to heavily will not make it
bond any stronger or longer.

HOW TO REMOVE THE LIQUID GOLD BOND:
With other bonding products, you can simply get the bonded area wet with most any oily solution, and the weft will
come right off. However the glue will become pasty and gummy and cling to the natural hair. This is when breakage
occurs when you attempt to get the glue out of the hair by repeated excessive combing that puts stress on the hair
resulting in breakage.
Liquid Gold Bond Remover is really a BOND DISSOLVER that will dissolve the bond, not just make it wet with oil. It will
not harm the hair or cause scalp discomfort.
DIRECTIONS: Wet a piece of cotton with the remover, apply to the bonded area, apply a warm curling iron to the area
for about 3-5 seconds, the same way that you did when bonding. The bond will dissolve, the added hair will come
loose easily and most (if not all) of the bonding glue will come off with the added hair, instead of clinging to the natural
hair. If any of the bonds does remain on the natural hair, it will comb out with a fine tooth comb. You can also remove
the added hair without the curling iron, but it will take about 3-4 minutes to dissolve. With the curling iron it will come
off instantly.

HOW DOES LIQUID GOLD REMOVER WORK?
Natural hair grows from a follicle in the scalp. Each follicle has a sebaceous gland attached that feeds natural oils
(serum) to the hair when stimulated by combing, brushing or any movement of the hair. Added hair by bonding or
fusing does not have this advantage. When the Liquid Gold Bond Remover oils will release the bond causing it to
cling to the hair being remove and not to the natural hair.

LIQUID GOLD BOND SEALER will help keep oils and moisture away from the bonded area for a even longer lasting
bond. But even without the sealer, Liquid Gold will stay on 3-5 times longer then other bonding products. Bond Sealer
is applied with a color applicator brush directly to the bonded area, when dry it creates a invisible barrier against oil
and moisture.

LIQUID GOLD AFTER BONDING LEAVE IN CONDITIONER:You will remember at the beginning of this text, we said
that you should not put any conditioners in the hair prior to bonding. So we developed a conditioner that is applied
after you bond. It not only replaces the Balsam or Cream Rinse, but also causes the natural and added hair to blend
more naturally so that they appear to be of the same texture.

HOW AND WHAT TO CHARGE FOR
BOND WEAVING SERVICES
You can charge by the length of the weft, not by the length of the hair, or by the number of tracks, because all the
added tracks are not the same length. For example, if the weft hair costs you $25.00 for a 36 inch long track of hair,
then by dividing $25.00 by 36 will tell you that the hair is costing you .69 cents per inch of track. Your charge for
applying the weaving hair should be at least $3.00 per inch plus the cost of the hair per inch. This is only a general
idea; you may want to charge more or less for your service. If the patron provides their own hair, then you would
charge the flat per inch application price only.

HOW TO DETERMINE IF THE QUALITY
OF HAIR IS HUMAN OR SYNTHETIC
Take a few strands of the hair for weaving, light a match to it. If it singes and leaves a white powdery ash, it is human
hair. If it melts and leaves a dark hard plastic like residue, then it is most likely synthetic.

HOW TO TEXTURING HAIR FOR
WEAVING AND WHY
The purpose of texturizing the hair for weaving is to prevent future matting and to make the hair to appear to be of a
higher quality, (i.e. silkier and smoother). There are two ways to do this. One is to hang the hair by the weft (track) on
a line over a tub or outside, then comb a cold wave booster or wrapping solution through the hair with a wide tooth
comb for about 12 minutes. Rinse with warm water, towel dry, pour some cold wave neutralizer into a spray type
bottle, spray on hair from the weft down on both sides of the hair. Leave in for 5 minutes, then repeat. Comb through
after each spraying. Rinse with warm water (not hot), towel dry, then blow dry while combing.
The other way is to relax the hair with a NO LYE relaxer in accordance with the product instructions.

HOW TO AVOID HAVING TO STOCK ALL OF THE
GRADES, TYPES AND COLORS OF HAIR
Make arrangements with a local supplier or wig store. Send your patrons there to select and purchase their own hair.
The supplier, in turn, will credit you with a percentage of the sale that you can later use for your own use. You will be
blameless if the patron selects the wrong color or quality of hair.

FACTS ABOUT HUMAN HAIR
FOR WEAVING
Even though it may be human hair, it is not growing from a human scalp, therefore, it does not gain the benefits of
natural scalp oils (serum) gravitating naturally through it. Also it is most likely chemically treated in order to eliminate
some of the cuticle thereby preventing matting and tangles during processing and shipping. This could result in the
hair not taking on the normal human hair characteristics. Also, each strand may not be turned the same way so that
the cuticle layers are in the same direction. This is why TEXTURIZING can help.

HOW TO TINT OR COLOR RINSE
HAIR FOR WEAVING
If you are going to perform this service after the weave hair has been applied, then wait at least 5 days after the
bonding, then do so. Apply the color to the weave hair last, because it will grab the color faster than the natural hair
for the reason given in the last paragraph. In order to ensure a near perfect color match, color rinse the weaving hair
off the head, then, to the natural hair, then do the bond weaving.

HOW TO SPLIT THE WEFT AND WHY
Most commercial hair for weaving are two thinner wefts sewed together. Using a razor blade or sharp shears, split the
weft apart. There are several reasons for doing this… If the patron has very thinning hair, this will match this
condition. Another reason for splitting the weft, is because when you are doing the Off Tract "INVISIBLE" Bonding,
whereby the bond is being applied to both sides of the weaving hair, the full weft hair will be too thick and the hair in
the center between the two outer layers will not get the bond, and will shed when the weft is cut away. Also if the
patron’s own natural hair, is too thin to hide the weaved hairs weft (track).

"OFF TRACK (NO WEFT) BONDING"
This will only work with the LIQUID GOLD BONDER because it dries clear, and will still bond after the bond has
completely dried on both the natural hair and the weft. (See instruction sheet for details.)
After doing this service, the bonded on hair will look and feel as though it is growing from the scalp naturally. Now, for
the first time, people who really need hair weaving due to the lack of natural growth can enjoy the weaving service.
The piece that you charge for this should be at least what you charge for a full weft service even though you are only
using half a weft on each track. The reason is that this is a custom job that before now could not be done. This
service can also be done on patrons who have normal thickness of hair in order to eliminate the look and feel of a
weave. When done on normal hair, you may want to place the wefts closer together to compensate for the thinner
wefts.

HOME CARE BY
THE PATRON
Do not deliberately apply oil based products directly to the weave area. Although LIQUID GOLD will resist oil up to 5
times longer than other bonding products, it is not completely resistant to oils. When shampooing, do not use hot
water. Hot water may cause the weaved hair to become matted by selling the hair and allowing the cuticles to interlock
uncontrollably for the reason given on the proceeding page. When the patron combs or brushes their hair, they
should place their hand on, or just below, the weft in order to relieve any stress from the weaved area. After
shampooing, the hair should be blow dried while combing or brushing with a wide tooth comb or vented brush.

HOW TO DO BOND WEAVING
IN CONJUNCTION WITH RELAXED HAIR
If the hair is in need or relaxing prior to bonding, then do so first. It is not recommended to
bond on new growth hair unless you are deliberately allowing the relaxer to grow out. Never relax hair after bonding,
because this may dissolve the bond and damage or destroy the weave hair. It is suggested that you wait about one
week after the relaxer to bond the hair

THE CURLY PERM
LIQUID GOLD BONDING
can be done at the same time along with the Curly Perm… here’s how. After rinsing out the
neutralizer, towel dry, remove the rods, blow dry the area to be bonded, then proceed to bond in accordance to the
bonding instructions. Next, apply the activators or set and style normally.

HOW TO BOND IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE PRESS AND CURL
Follow the basic bonding instructions, then press and curl in the usual way. Be sure NOT to apply any after shampoo
conditioners or oils to the hair prior to the bonding.

WHY IS LIQUID GOLD BONDER
NOT AVAILABLE IN BLACK
LIQUID GOLD is clear (no color) it dries clear on the hair and weft. Due to this fact, it is not necessary for it to come in
any color. The reason for the black bonder is because when bond weaving first came about, it was white in color and
made from rubber base material. When dry, it looked like dandruff next to the scalp. So they added black color to hide
this appearance. Also, when they added color it diluted the bond by 20% resulting in the black bonder not holding as
long as the original white one. LIQUID GOLD BONDER is not a rubber base product, and will stay on up to 5 times
longer than both the white or black bonder.

WHY LIQUID GOLD BONDER IS
NOT IN PLASTIC APPLICATOR BOTTLES
Plastic bottles allow the bond to dry up right through the plastic. By using glass bottles, the shelf life will be much
longer. Applicator bottles also waste product, and do not allow for even smooth flow of the bond to both the natural
hair and the weft. The applicator bottle
gives you less control as to the amount of bond is coming from the bottle. You may have too much on one area, and
not enough in another. LIQUID GOLD BONDER is in a 1 oz. bottle, most of the others are in a ½ oz. bottle. You can
do 5 heads from each 1 oz. bottle. If it were in the same size plastic bottle you would get less than 3 heads from each
bottle.

THE LIQUID GOLD
GUARANTEE
LIQUID GOLD BONDER
will stay on from 3-5 times longer than other bonders. This can be different from patron to
patron. For example, if the other bonders stay on for just a few days, or after the first shampoo, LIQUID GOLD will
STAY ON for at least two weeks, and through about 3 shampoos (what ever occurs first). In other words, in what ever
time the other bonder stays on, LIQUID GOLD WILL LAST 3-5 times longer.

HOW TO CLEAN AND REUSE
PREVIOUSLY BONDED WEAVING HAIR
Due to the fact that only LIQUID GOLD BOND REMOVER dissolves the bond, and the others do not, the following will
not work with the others.
After removing the bond on the hair with the remover (See instructions) pour some LIQUID GOLD REMOVER into a
small glass or container. Roll the weft up into a neat roll, soak the weft in the remover for about 10 minutes. Take the
weft from the remover, clean the weft with a tooth brush. Shampoo the weft with a cleansing shampoo or LIQUID
GOLD PRE-BONDING SHAMPOO in order to cleanse the remover from the weft. Allow to dry or blow dry. The hair is
now ready for reuse.

WHY IS HAIR BREAKAGE
ASSOCIATED WITH BOND WEAVING?
Bond weaving products do not break hair. What does break hair is the repetitious combing when attempting to
remove the bonder from the hair. Other bonding products turn to a sticky paste when the remover is applied, that can
only be removed by repeated combing, this puts stress on the hair resulting in breakage. LIQUID GOLD BOND
REMOVER dissolves the bond so that most of the bond comes off with the weft. What little is left will comb out easily
with a fine tooth comb.

HOW TO RE-BOND IF IT
SHOULD COME LOOSE PREMATURELY
It is not necessary to shampoo with the Pre-Bonding shampoo, unless a large area of bonded on hair has come
loose. If just a corner has come loose here and there, then simply wet a piece of cotton with some alcohol, clean the
area on both the hair and the weft that came loose, allow to dry, then re-bond that area in the same manner as when
originally done as per the instructions.

THE THREE MOST COMMON MISTAKES TO AVOID WITH LIQUID GOLD:

When ever we get a complaint that the Liquid Gold did not bond for long, it is most always do to one of the following….

1. Do not put any after shampoo conditioners in the hair prior to bonding, as stated at the bottom of this sheet*.
2. Apply the bond to both the weft (hair to be added) and to the hair the weft is going to bond to. With the black
bond you can apply to the weft only, if you press it on before it dries. Liquid Gold will bond even if dry on both weft
and hair.
3. Do not bond to the scalp, this is unhealthy and will not stay because the scalp produces natural oils that will
weaken the bond.

BRUSH ON WITH THIN EVEN STROKES
More does not make better, it just makes waste

1. Shampoo hair with LIQUID GOLD pre- bonding shampoo. Apply to wet hair. Work up a rich lather. Rinse with
warm water and repeat (do not apply any conditioners until bonding is completed) *see details below
2. Towel blot. Then blow dry hair while combing. This will render hair tangle free. It is important for hair next to
scalp to be completely oil free and dry prior to bonding.
3. Part hair where weft is to be placed. Always start at nape of neck and work upward.
4. Apply LIQUID GOLD hair bonder to weaved hair with thin even strokes.
5. Apply LIQUID GOLD to parted scalp hair close to scalp but not directly on scalp. Allow bond to dry 3-5 minutes.
6. Place weaved hair onto scalp hair with fingers. Press weaved hair on to scalp hair.
Lay a warm curling iron across weft with slight pressure. To avoid accidental scalp burns, place a hard rubber
comb on parted scalp.

FOR LONGER LASTING RESULTS: Place patron under hot dryer before cutting or styling for about 8 minutes.

HOW TO REMOVE THE WEAVED HAIR
Wet a piece of cotton with the Remover. Then pat it on the weft to be removed. Lay a warm curling iron on weft for
about 5 seconds ( the same as in Step 7.) The weft should come loose easily. Do the same to any bonding material
that may still cling to the hair. Then comb out any residue with a fine tooth comb. AVOID GETTING ANY REMOVER
ON SCALP OR IN EYES OR IN OPEN CUTS. If so, rinse with cool water.
LIQUID GOLD BOND IS SO EFFECTIVE THAT IT CAN ONLY BE REMOVED WITH LIQUID GOLD REMOVER. THIS
REMOVER CONTAINS A BOND DISSOLVER. NO OTHER REMOVER HAS THIS ELEMENT.

IF THE BOND BECOMES STIFF OF STRINGY
This will happen when the bond is left open or is cold. Place bottle in hot water (not boiling) for about 10 minutes
before using (do not put in microwave.)
*THE REASON FOR NOT CONDITIONING UNTIL AFTER BONDING is because most after shampoo conditioners
contain oils and emollients that can block the bonder from bonding to the hair.
We recommend you use LIQUID GOLD AFTER BONDING LEAVE IN CONDITIONER. It allows natural and weaved hair
to blend more naturally and conditions both beautifully. Also available LIQUID GOLD BOND SEALER to seal out oil
and moisture for a longer lasting bond.

BOND FUSING AND EXTENSIONS &
OFF TRACK INVISIBLE BONDING
Because of the unique quality of the LIQUID GOLD BONDER, mainly that it is allowed to dry for a short time prior to
blending the commercial hair to e scalp hair. It can be effectively used for HAIR FUSION without the need for
expensive mechanical equipment. It is easy and does not take any more time. (DO NOT TRY THIS WITH ANY OTHER
BRAND OF BONDING PRODUCTS)
Use a disk that you can easily make from ½ of
An ordinary business card, here’s how….

1. Fold the ½ section of the card in half, then fold once more
2. Cut a small piece off of folded corner.
3. Unfold, cut from the middle of one side of the card to the hole in the center. When finished it should look like
the diagram.

24. Place the hair to be added to natural hair. Using your thumb and forefinger, pinch and roll the added hair
around the natural hair.
25. Using a warm curling iron, place the section you are fusing between the shell and the barrel. Close lightly for
about 3 seconds. Reposition iron as shown and repeat. Round off section with thumb and forefinger.
You may do several sections at the same time using several disks. HINT: The longer the bond has to dry before
fusing, the better is will adhere. Due to the fact that LIQUID GOLD will bond when dry. You can prepare several
strands of commercial hair with the bonder. Then fuse them one-by-one.

HOW TO DE-FUSE THE HAIR: (REMOVE) Wet a piece of cotton with the BOND REMOVER. Place cotton around the
fused section. Squeeze lightly with fingers for about 10 seconds, and pull apart with the other hand slowly. You may
apply heat in the same manner as in Step 6 above for faster de-fusing after applying remover.

HOW TO DO OFF TRACK INVISIBLE BOND WEAVING: Due to the fact that LIQUID GOLD dry clear instead of black
or white, and weft and scalp hair are blended after a short drying time, unlike all other bonding products, you can
provide the following service to patrons with very thinning hair. Most commercial hair for weaving are two smaller wefts
sewed together. Using sharp razor blade or scissors, split the weft into two pieces (This will compare with the patrons
own thin hair). Apply the bond to the weft hair just below the weft (not on the weft) on both sides. Then to the parted
hair close to the scalp. The same as in Steps 3 and 5 on page 11. Lay weft in part, so that bonded area of the weft
hair will be where bond is on scalp hair. Press on with finger, then seal lightly with curling iron as in Step 7 on page
11. Cut away weft. The parting will make a perfect channel for cutting away weft without cutting the natural hair. If
done correctly, the added hair should look as though it is growing from the scalp. BRUSH ON WITH THIN EVEN
STROKES.

HOW TO "TACK OR ANCHOR" THE WEFT
IN ORDER TO PREVENT PREMATURE CHOOSE
Sometimes due to misuse by the patron, the corners of the weft ma come loose. To prevent this, use a curved
upholstery needle, thread it, tie a knot in the end of the thread, stick the needle into the end of the weft and pull the
thread through to the knot. Take a few strands of natural hair next to the scalp, stick the needle back into the end of
the weft, and pull through until tight, then tie off and cut the thread. If you wish to reinforce the entire bonded area,
you can do this anywhere along the weft that you choose.

HOW TO PROMOTE AND ADVERTISE
BOND WEAVING SERVICES
The best way is to wear some variation of it yourself. Another is to guarantee your service, and lice up to that
promise. If the bonding should come loose for any reason (even if it was the patrons own fault) re-bond it back (as
shown in this book) at no charge to the patron, at the same time while you still have the curling iron in your hand,
freshen up her hair style. Your patron will be so impressed by this that she will in all likelihood recommend other bond
weaving customers to you.
The logic of this is that conventional hair weaving (i.e., sewing) takes up to (4) times longer to do than bond weaving.
Due to the fact that LIQUID GOLD BOND will stay on up to five (5) times longer than the others, you can charge near
the same price as the sew in method. So if a patron requires some re-bonding, you have already been paid for it from
the start, even though you may only have to do so on just a few patrons.

OTHER HELPFUL HINTS AND INFORMATION ABOUT
LIQUID GOLD BOND WEAVING
Always bond immediately after shampooing, otherwise natural oil build up on the hair next to the scalp may weaken
the bonding. Be sure that the hair you buy for bonding has not
been treated with oil sheen sprays or other oils, otherwise oil on the weft could also weaken the bond. DO NOT
APPLY ANY CONDITIONER TO THE HAIR AFTER SHAMPOOING PRIOR TO BONDING, such as Cream Rinses or
Balsam. This can also weaken the bond due to oil residue on the hair. Use LIQUID GOLD AFTER BONDING
CONDITIONER as your final step in the procedure. It will soften, prevent tangles and matting, plus condition both the
natural and added hair for a more natural blending appearance of both. This is why in the instructions we say "after
shampooing, blow dry the hair while combing with a wide tooth comb or vented brush". This will both detangle and
somewhat relax the hair.
In order to be more efficient in the bonding procedure, let your patron assist you (without them being aware of it.) Let
your patron hold the bond bottle close to the area you are bonding. This will free your hands to handle the bond and
to gold the hair in place for easier more efficient application. Also, you will not have to keep reaching over to your
work station for the bond.

DO NOT PERFORM THIS SERVICE IN FRONT OF A MIRROR. This service is so easy and simple to do, that your
patron could learn to do it just by watching you.

HOW TO USE LIQUID GOLD FOR BRAIDS ON SHORT
HAIR TO PREVENT THEM FROM COMING LOOSE
Braiding with extensions on short hair often comes loose due to the natural hair being to short to anchor or support
the added hair. To prevent this, follow the instruction for BOND FUSING on the instruction page. This will hold the
added hair firmly until you are ready for
it to come out. You can also use LIQUID GOLD BONDER to SEAL THE ENDS of the braids instead of burning them
with a flame. Here’s how…. Put a small amount of the bonder on the ends after braiding, allow to dry, then seal them
with a curling iron (See Step. 6 in instructions.) This method is safer and is more comfortable because the burning
of the ends leaves the end hard and dark in color. The hardness can be very irritating to the back or neck. The
darkness can look unnatural especially on lighter color hair. The hardness is due to the fact that most hair used for
braiding is a synthetic material. When it melts (from the burning) it hardens into a solid plastic like substance. The
LIQUID GOLD BONDER dries soft, pliable and colorless.
You can also use LIQUID GOLD BONDER to REATTACH braids that have come off (following the fusion instructions).
It is now possible to buy pre-braided hair, in this case you can attach them using the LIQUID GOLD FUSION method in
less than an hour, instead of the many hours it takes to braid weave them on

HOW DOES LIQUID GOLD REMOVER WORK?
Natural hair grows from a follicle in the scalp. Each follicle has a sebaceous gland attached that feeds natural oils
(serum) to the hair when stimulated by combing, brushing or any movement of the hair. Added hair by bonding or
fusing do not have this advantage. When the Liquid Gold Bond Remover (dissolver) is applied, the natural hair aided
by the natural scalp oils will release the bond causing it to cling to the hair being remove arid not to the natural hair.

LIQUID GOLD AFTER BONDING LEAVE IN CONDITIONER:
You will remember at the beginning of this text, we said that you should not put any conditioners in the jar prior to
bonding. So we developed a conditioner that is applied after you bond. It not only replaces the Balsam or Cream
Rinse, but also causes the natural and added hair to blend more naturally so that they appear to be of the same
texture.
FOR THE FIRST TIME
BOND WEAVING
CAN LAST UP TO 5 TIMES
LONGER

THIS PRODUCT IS SPECIALLY FORMULATED TO SEAL OUT MOISTURE AND OIL FROM THE BONDED AREA TO
ENSURE LONGER LASTING BONDING RESULTS

-WORKS WITH ALL BRANDS OF BONDING PRODUCTS-
LIQUID GOLD is much easier, faster and safer to remove than the others, even though it bonds much stronger. This
is because the LIQUID GOLD REMOVER dissolves the bond instead of just making it wet with oil base solutions that
will remove the weft, but leave most of the bonding glue clinging to the hair in a pasty, sticky form. This causes hair
breakage when you attempt to remove it by repeated combing.

Due to the fact that LIQUID GOLD bonding system bonds so much stronger, only LIQUID GOLD BONDER. This
remover will also safely dissolve and remove other brands of bonding glue, however other brands will not remove the
LIQUID GOLD BOND.

All hair should be shampooed prior to bonding in order to remove any oils, wax or greasy buildup on the hair.
HOWEVER, NO after shampoo conditioners should be applied to the hair such as Balsam, Cream Rinse, etc.
Because they will deposit a thin layer of oil residue back on the hair that will cause a weak bond because you will be
bonding to the conditioner and not to the hair. LIQUID GOLD AFTER BONDING CONDITIONER is applied after the
bonding is completed. It will relieve dry hair & scalp, maintain a healthy appearance even more beneficial than a
Cream Rinse or Balsam.
The Exclusive LIQUID GOLD BOND SEALER that can be applied with a tint applicator brush, will help keep oil and
moisture away from the bonded area for an even longer lasting bond. However, even without the sealer, LIQUID
GOLD will still stay o up to 5 times longer than all the others.

FACTS, INFORMATION, FEATURES & BENEFITS
PLUS INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE
LIQUID GOLD BONDING SYSTEM
Liquid Gold is clear in color not black or white. It dry clear and will bond longer and stronger then other bonding
products, yet it will not break or damage hair when removed. Liquid Gold Bonder is in a glass container (not plastic)
with a brush for longer shelf life and to allow smooth even applications. This is why you can do five (5) or more
complete heads from each 1 oz. bottle.
NOTE: Not only can you do regular ON TRACK bonding, you can also do OFF TRACT HAIR TO HAIR INVISIBLE
BONDING, BOND FUSING WITHOUT THE NEED OF A GLUE GUN OR
ANY OTHER SPECIAL EQUIPMENT.

DIRECTIONS: Lets start with the basic ON TRACK bonding…. Shampoo the hair with a cleansing shampoo (2
soaping) Do not apply any conditioners such as Balsam or Cream Rinses. They will leave a oily film that may weaken
the bond. The same is true with other bonding products, but they do not tell you.
Blow dry the hair while combing or brushing with a vented brush. This will detangle the hair.
Apply the bond with the enclosed brush in the bottle to the weft of the weaved hair. Brush on thin and evenly. (heavy
applications will not make it bond any better). Part the hair, and apply bond to natural hair along the parting close to
the scalp but not on the scalp. (if some of the bond should get on the scalp the patron will not feel it, and it will soon
fall away due to rejection by normal scalp oils). If the bond should start to dry before you can blend the weft to the
natural hair, do not worry, because Liquid Gold will bond even if completely dry on both weft and hair. The other
bonds will not bond when dry, therefore you have to re-apply if it dry. Liquid Gold will grab like Velcro when bonded
together when dry, only you will not be able to pull it apart. However it will come loose easy with the Liquid Gold Bond
Dissolver.
Next, Press the weft on to the natural hair with your fingers. If you want a good tight stronger and longer bond, then
you can HEAT SEAL the bonding by laying a warm curling iron along the width of the weft with slight pressure. To
avoid accidental scalp burn, place a comb in the parting while heat sealing. A blow dryer will not work as well, because
it is a cooler indirect heat source with no pressure. Heat sealing will not work with other bonding product, because
they will only bond when the bond is still wet.

This great info, I guess a clarifying shampoo would be best, since it contains no oils that could break down the bond.

I would choose whatever u normally use... I used CON detangling for all my washes and that is a very moisturizing poo and it still did not cause the glue to break down...

I use Suave Clairifying shampoo, but only on my scalp and the tracks.-It only costs a dollar but it works. I also use cream on nature, but just on the hair itself.
