I wanted to try an ACV rinse because I tend to have a lot of product buildup and an ACV rinse has been suggested to me. I bought some ACV today and I just have a few ??s

What amont of ACV do you add to what amount of water?

Does it matter if the ACV is diluted(bottle says diluted with water to 5% acidity)?

What is your method...do you  just pour it on, do you let it sit, scrub it in, rinse it out or leave it in?

When do you use it, after shampooing, conditioning, DCing, CO washing, all of the above?

Do you put product in when you're done or do you let your hair dry before putting any product in it?

I'd really appreciate the help. TIA Smile

I use ACV as my final rinse. My ratio is probably about 25% ACV to 75% Water.

20%acv to 80% H2O

No that doesnt matter... all vinegar you see in the supermarket is diluted to 5% acidity

What is your method...do you just pour it on, do you let it sit, scrub it in, rinse it out or leave it in?
I pour it on and leave it in for a couple of minutes then rinse with cold water

When do you use it, after shampooing, conditioning, DCing, CO washing, all of the above?
After conditioning... but sometimes before everything, when I'm just taking out braids that I've had in for a while

Do you put product in when you're done or do you let your hair dry before putting any product in it?
After every wash, whether I ACV rinse or not, I put products in while my hair is still damp and let it air dry or dry it with a diffuser

I'd really appreciate the help. TIA Smile

eyeball it.  Fill my water bottle about a 4th of the way, add water, poor a little bit on my head, add more water so on so forth.  No rhyme or reason.

No..that just means they made the ACV safe enough to get on your person without burning

Poor it on and kinda work it in

Right after shampooing as a cleaning boost.

I don't really use ACV anymore.  I'm trying to get rid of the last of it.  It's a nice addition to a hair regimen but I don't really need it.
Do you put product in when you're done or do you let your hair dry before putting any product in it?
