I threw ou my scale a long time ago, but now since I'm starting to work out again I've been on the search for a reliable analog scale, but I would say 1x a month or every 2 wks.

When I'm working out I check it like once a week but when I'm not I check it like every other day to make sure that I'm not putting on too much weight.

allows me to fix it before it gets outta control
eventually i'll go to 2x a week

I weigh everyday..It's an obsession! I need to stop though because everyday it's different and I have to keep telling my self its just water weight. I have not consumed an extra 3500 calories or more in less than a day!  3500= 1 pound in case you didn't know.

My plan is once a week, but b/c of my obsessive habits.....daily.
I've gotten better now tho. I try to stuff my scale in a hard-to-reach place. It helps to hold it off for a few days, then I go back and pull it out. I like the surprise effect of a weekly weigh in.

Every now and then in the gym locker room. Since I weight train, my weight doesn't mean much since I'm building muscle so I rely more on waist measurement to make sure I'm good.

I don't have a scale but I stop by my Dr.'s office every two months for a weigh in. If I had one at home I would be obsessed with weighing myself.
