this maybe a stupid question so i'm warning u ladies in advance...

can a sun tan on darker complexions lighten in the winter but never fully go away?

im curious because i was working in the sun constantly this past summer and its now 40 degree weather in NYC and my tan still hasn't gone away.

I heard that a tan on a non caucasian doesn't fade completely.  So the more you tan every year, the darker you'll eventually get.  But it's a gradual process, so you shouldn't all of a sudden have a permanent tan that's three shades darker than before.  The sun is still out in the fall and winter, so maybe the reason your tan hasn't noticeably faded is because you're still out in the sun a lot.

I'm in L.A and I just noticed that my forehead which is the only part of my face that tans always gets dark in the summer and stays that way. When I'm sure it's going to be cold for a long while I use bleaching cream on my forehead for about two weeks day and night. I use topiclear number one mainly because it works in just two weeks.

you can use lightening soaps like black soaps and glutathione soaps to help lighten your skin back to its original complexion
