I haven't given up yet. It takes me a looong time, but I like being able to make sure that the braids are not too tight.

This is my 2nd try at braiding my own hair. Started with cornrow tree braids, but ran out of extra hands to hold the hair I pulled from the cornrow base. They looked really good. So . . . in the absence of helpers, I took them out and just did small box braids.

I have my 4am appointment this Sunday for my G-Braids. I have been stalking her work for sooo long. I am very excited and can't wait for my fab new do. I am going to a wedding later that day and will happily post pictures. I am hoping that this will become my new go to protective style. I will be in Liberia next month and can't imagine having my rpgshow wig, lovely as it is, on in the heat 24/7.

@PrincessChanel....Those pictures are everythang....I just braided up my hair over the weekend. I tried to do sengalese twists and got frustrated and just started braiding instead. I will try to do the twists next time...hopefully I am more patient then. Thanks for the inspiration!
