I'm at a loss on how to tip for certain services...
I realize servers get 15 to 20% but what about nail techs?
They have to touch some crusty feet throughout the day! *LOL*
How about the taxi driver? Delivery driver?
I believe I overtip but sometimes feel like it's not enough.
Just curious what your thoughts are...

Cabbies and shuttle driver get nothing if they don't help me with my bag.  Otherwise $3-$5
 
My general rule is $3-$5 for nail techs, cabbies, shuttle drivers. They have to wow me to get more than $5.

I over-tip with great service only because its a rarity these days but I'm still generous when it comes to general services. 

I leave notes with my tips if my server/waitress/attendant was great or horrible to make them aware of the service they're providing :)

I tip based on level of service. You not gonna get something simply because you're waiting on me.

the last thread that was made like this, some ppl didn't tip anything for any service.  I couldn't believe what I was reading!!  then there was a poster that was like she only tips either $1 or $5 no matter how big the check was.  I was thoroughly disgusted.  no wonder ppl hate serving blacksDead
