Do any of you all still wear french rolls?  I remember this being a very popular style in 90s.  One of my mother's friends grew her hair out super long by wearing this style in addition to her weekly wash and deep condition.

I wore that hairstyle for my wedding with side-swept bangs...it's that way in my avatar. I thought it was a timeless look. I still see peeps wearing them, they are older though. I love that stlyleThumbs Up

Lately I've been wearing french rolls as one of my protective styles, I love the look too. I dont think french rolls will ever go out of style, its just as classic as the bun. Smile

I wear a horizontal U roll that looks like a long French Roll on its side. Another old time classic in my family. see Protective Styles in my album.

I love french rolls.  I agree, it is a classic style that is here to stay.

I am wearing my hair like that right now and my hair isn't that long. Its a  quick and easy style and it helps me to keep the heat out of my hair.  Hopefully my hair will grow long too if I keep this style up.

My now former highschool teacher Mrs. Bell always has her hair in french rolls, crinkly finger waves up top do or some type of updo. She gets her hair done every two weeks religiously. Rarely if ever do I see her hair down, but when she lets it loose it is so long and pretty. I know that alot of the 30 years and up long haired women in my area (west Alabama) wear the throwback hairstyles. They all have really long pretty hair. So yeah it a real good way to grow your hair out. I dont know if it is that fashionable for the young, like me(18) but it never hearts to follow the beat of a different drum.
