So I'm a big time thrifter, especially being a broke college student lol. Growing up my mother & I always spent out Saturday mornings if not cleaning the house we were at some thrift store, flea market, or riding around looking for garage sales. Since then I have always found myself wandering in a thrift store in every city I came across in.

When it comes to thrifting, it's a hit or miss. Some days you luck up and find all types of goodies, others you may find absolutely nothing but that's what I love it about. You never know what treasures you might find hiding in the midst of all that clutter. It's kind of like an adventure for me lol.

Now granted I know thrifting isn't for everyone (one of my friends gets totally freaked out about walking in one lol) but I know I'm not alone in my slight obsession with thrifting lol.

So I want to know who are all my thrifters & what are some of your recent or favorite goodies you have purchased? Feel free to put up pictures of your goodies as well if you want.

SN: If you know any good thrifters on YouTube feel free to share them

bebes328 & AKAKristin are my favorite

I don't shop at Thrift Stores, but I do shop all sale & clearance. ONLY sale and clearance. I do *not* pay full price for anything & u'd be surprised how many great things u find for cheap. I get tops for $4.50.. body con skirts for under $7. Just got one yesterday for $5. Trendy strappy sandals for $9. Skinny jeans for $10. I also saw really nice shoes [flats, sandals, and heels] for $10, but not my size!

My shopping rules for myself...
I'll never pay for than $10 for a top.
I'll never pay more than $15 for bottoms.
I'll never pay more than $15 for a dress.
I'll never pay more than $20 for shoes.
I'll never pay more than $5 for earrings.
I'll never pay more than $10 for other jewelry items.

So today I was stop by one of my favorite little thrift stores, it's like 5 minutes walking distance from where I stay. This particular thirft store is favorite because it is HELLA cheap. It's run by a christian organization, that donates some of it's proceeds to children in need (http://www.lighthousechildrenshome.com/). The ladies who run it are extremely nice and always look out. Each day on top of their already cheap prices they will have 50% off shoes, clothes, purses, kitchenware, furniture, books, etc. So today was 50% of shoes & clothes. Now in the store it always a hit or miss for me bc it's a small store, some days they put out the goodies so days there isn't any thing for me but today I lucked up :)

I got 2 pair of shoes, 1 pair of jeans, and a belt (not pictured)

These BCBGirls shoes were originally $3.45 but I got them for $1.73

These Carlos Santana shoes were originally $5.75 but I got them for $2.88

I love how they look on me!! Both of them were hardly if ever worn. They look like they been sitting in a storage room for sometime though. nothing a little cleaning up wont fix. I only buy shoes from thrift stores that look like they haven't been worn too often.

The jeans I got where some Chic old school type high waist jeans.
The shorts in the picture are the same brand that I bought earlier this summer and cut which I attend to do with the jeans I just purchased. All summer I've been buying jeans for this shop and cutting them up. Mostly all the jeans at this shop are originally $2.99 so after 50% off I get them for $1.50. I only purchase during the 50% off days lol.

I wish I could thrift for shoes but most of the shoes in my size are hideous and manly looking.  I haven't thrift in over a year but I wanna hit up the thrift stores that are near the rich neighborhoods.

Also I was able to gather up a few of my favorite finds, and I do mean few lol

Besides the Lighthouse Thrift Store I enjoy going to, I also love Good Cents. Good Cents is part of the Goodwill but MUCH cheaper. They weigh the clothes by the pound instead of individual price and other miscellaneous items are super cheap as well. Now unlike Goodwill where everything is hung up, in Good Cents you have to dig and search the bens for the goodies and I've had to fight off a couple grandmas for somethings lol (but seriously). Anyways long story short I got these shades for 25cents.

Also found this skirt which actually came down to my ankles. I cut off a tad bit too short, so I only wear it when I go the beach or pool. In the picture is how I wore it, I was in the Bahamas for spring break2k11 :)

These two shorts where longer, but I tend to be a lil scissor happy :)

How I wore the green shorts

Yeah that's how it is for me sometimes, I hardly ever find cute CLEAN shoes in my size, so when I do I consider myself very lucky!

You should google neighborhoods and see where their nearest thrift store is by that area :)
