I noticed my legs look thin if compared to my thighs! My thighs only grew an inch in the past month, but I have been noticing my legs looking too thin for months!
How can I work that out? I run a bit too much since I need to exercise my dog.

I want them to be thicker.... running at the beach helped them look nicer. I guess that's one way to get them looking gooood.

genetics play a huge part....ive always had huge calves since grade school.

Right now you are doing alot of cardio activity from the running which is fine as long as you build muscle.  What you have going on now is your body is likely burning muscle, especially if you have a lower fat content. 

You need to do calf raises.  The video here shows the woman using dumbbells which help but it's possible to do it without them.

I haven't been running at the beach. And when I do, it is not an everyday thing. I do walk twice a day with my dog though.

Genetics do play an important role on your calves. There are even bodybuilders and fitness models who get the calf implants because they are unable to have them match the rest of their body. I would say that you try calve raises with some pretty heavy weights to get them to grow.

I saw a guy using the leg press machine with only one leg, I wonder if that can help my leg be thicker

have you tried sprints? especially hill sprints. where do you live?

crank up the incline. Mines are the opposite tho... I want mines to be smaller... I think it's because I walk on my tip toes which I'm trying to stop doing because jeans will fit fine in the thighs and waist, but are tight on my calfs and it's annoying
