Shane is easily the best character of the series.
Season 2 would have been overbearingly boring, to the point of being unwatchable, if he wasn't in it.
ALL of the most entertaining scenes/moments of season 2 had Shane in it.

At this point, Michonne is one of the worst written characters. She's as cardboard and one dimensional as any of the characters from the first 2 seasons. She's annoying as hell, walking around scowling in every scene.
She did have a great line though.
"You'd prolly slow me down anyway," was awesome. I laughed out loud.
I'm also increasingly annoyed by the telling the writers are doing instead of showing. I rolled my eyes as Glenn explained how great T-Dogg was as a person, when we didn't get to actually see any of that sh*t in 3 seasons of his character existing.
Last episode was great. This episode, meh.
