Yeah it's no big suprise that an incumbent won re election . I don't know of any credible source who predicted that he wouldn't win

| Umm in the other threads and in real life. Yes I never believe that he wouldn't be re elected. I expect all incumbents to be re lected. I think I posted on here way way before the elections that we had to run statistics in my Presidency course and my number came out that President would win. So yeah

Jonesable, actually it was a bit of a surprise for some people, as Obama was only the 4th Democratic president in the history of US politics to be re-elected for a second term.
