In the process of making a kinky curly wig, should I use a net weave or the dome cap?

The dome cap is probably more secure, but since curly hair requires moisturizing and product, will the dome cap be secure enough?

TIA.

I only use dome caps from now on. Nets lose elasticity too quickly.

I spent all day Sunday sewing the wig and all I got was a giant ball of hair. I fashioned a head out of plastic bags and fabric that would be my size since the styrofoam wig heads are kind of small, but all I've got is this disaster of a ball of hair. I am so disappointed. I am going to take down the hair, but should I space it out more? I have 12 inches of kinky afro curl.

I seriously suck at this. Next time, I'll just order an LF and keep it moving.

I know err'body's on their straight hair kick now, but: An update of an update of an update . . . update-ception.

After I threw that AKC in the corner weeks ago, I decided to see if I could revive it one more time . . . it freakin' worked. Hot water, conditioner, a paddle brush and a dome cap later, a u-part was brought into this world. Worn it for 2 days now and no tangling. Looks the same applied as when I sewed it in.

The hell did I do differently????

Stern Smile Probably the paddle brush . . .
