Wow, this is a really effective way to stretch. She got her daughter's hair to look fully blown out with no heat! I'm tempted to try threading but it also seems so meticulous. Must be worth it, though! Takes me back to my childhood days where my mom would thread my hair with this black plastic thread.

Speaking of which, can I just say this mother's hair care knowledge must be the dream of every little black girl out there? Look at how peaceful her daughters look! My childhood self envies her, my mother made it SNOW my own hair with how rough she was with it! LOL This woman seems like a fantastic mother and I will definitely be trying this method!

I ran into this video/method last year. It looks interesting, but knowing me, I don't have the patience to sit down and try and figure it out anytime soon.

It's actually rather easy once you get the hang of it which is usually after 2 braids or so. I'm actually in threads  right now (since March) for the 3rd time and plan to keep this set in until at least July.

she did the threading neat and cute.. my mom used to have my hair stickin up lookin wild LOL
( i hated this hairstyle)
I was gonna start doing this under my wigs..
