Ok. So, one of the natural hair channels, im subscribred to on youtube used this product.

Basically its just a detangling comb/brush.

& i watched her video and she detangled all of her hair effortlessly. and she has 4a/4b hair.
Right around my hair type, so I decided to  try to it to see how it worked.
I was still kinda skeptical, because i believe what works for 1 person may not work for the next person.

I bought it at Sally's Beauty Supply & it was 10 dollars. I know. . . .Ouch lol

So, I just used it not too long ago today, and i love it.
Ive been transitioning for 9 months, so my detangling my hair can be a hassle.
But i used this and it made it so much easier.
I mean, my WHOLE head was detangled. Like when i detangle with a regular comb, i still have a few tangles here and there when Im done, but with the tangle teezer, my hair was SMOOTH.
It smoothed my hair out, detangled all of my new growth, I didnt lose that much hair in the process, and I was able to detangle quicker. I was amazed. lol because detangling has always been a problem for me.

All in all it was 10 dollars well spent.

I've thought about getting one of those but didn't love the price either. Ally, I don't know if you've seen one but it looks like a shampoo scrub brush or like a scalp massage brush (basically tiny and plastic). The most I've spent on a shampoo brushes is like three or four bucks and that was for my Babyliss, so I too thought the price was a little high. I'm so glad to hear that it worked for you, I may go ahead and get one since I have a Sally's coupon for this month that I haven't used yet.

Here's a video of a woman using it on 4a hair.

....and a woman using it with a coarser hair texture.

Glad it works, my initial thought was that it reminded me of a paddle brush, then I found this comparison... http://hairthereandeverywhere-jessica.blogspot.com/2010/06/tangle-teezer-vs-goody-ouchless-paddle.html
I may have to stalk this 1 for a while.

I want one. As simple as that. I guess I'll be taking a trip to Sally's tomorrow.
