^You would be #173 in MUFE. It matches me well.

my ungrateful butt never said thank you!!! I finally found out I was a NW45 in MAC and that stuff in pics had me looking like a ghost. They tried to tell me I needed a finishing powder to put color back in and to set it..................
well if i needed to put color back in apparently this isn't my color. So I read the advice here and piced up the ColorStay and OH MY WORD!!!! I love it, I wasn't ashy in certain areas and it's me!
Thank you ladies!

6/6 update: So the MAC NW45 didn't work and I went and got the Colorystay.............and that didn't work either......... was was too dark, but it did work better than the NW45
So I went back to MAC and I tried on their color match ?? and I did in an 8...........it was ok......I had her do 1/4 of my face so I could go out in the natural light to see and take pics on my camera.............well I think the 7.5 or possibly the 7 would have worked better
So on another part of my face I had her try on the SFF NW46..............and went home and outside and THIS is a WINNER!!!! PERFECT!!! Great coverage AND it don't look like I have on mu..........BUT what I noticed right off the back was that I was instantly "warmer" redder............. like it amplified what I already had. The MU lady wanted to try and MC on my b/c of all; my red undertones but apparently MAC's NC don't go that dark...................
so is it true that since I have red undertones I should go to the cool side? I that the cool side was for people with .........................well maybe Im confused now...........any opinions on this............I really think the NC would have me looking ashy and cold

If you have red understones, you fall under NW (warmer), if you have yellow/beige undertones, NC (cooler). I am no Mac expert, but I am amazed at the wrong advice workers at Mac give customers.

Regular Revlon Colorstay with the blk cap for oily combination skin DOES NOT mean that youre the same shade in the rest of their formulations. Oily is darker than Dry skin and is darker than their Photo Ready line

I need help
No one particular MAC foundation really matches my skin. But I'm somewhere between nC44 and nc45, or 6.0 Matchmaster. My perfect match is BB #6 Golden.
I just picked up the Nars Tinted Moisturizer and I'm all sorts of confused. Initially I picked up Seychelles, but I realized when I got home although it was yellow based, it was too dark. I thought possibly I could be Malaga, but then I tested Cuba and Annapurna. All three seemed to work, even up to Annapurna. Even the beauty consultants at Sephora was kinda shocked that all three worked. They advised me to get Cuba but I also got Annapurna after hearing it will darken up.
Any similar experiences with this TM?

^^^ You sound similar to me. I've never worn MAC foundation but BB Skin Foundation in #6 is perfect for me as well. And I have both Cuba and Malaga in the NARS TM (never tried Annapurna). Though Cuba and Malaga seem the same when you apply it, you can see the sutle differences after about 20 mins of wearing it. Malaga, on me, pulls slightly red. I noticed it after staring at my jawline in natural light. It does, however, work well for me during the summer when I'm tan. When I first tried it, it was spring. Cuba is definitely more yellow; I don't notice any red at all. I can also wear this in the summer and throughout the rest of the year. HTH

Im between Mac NC 43-44 but sadly I can no longer wear any of their foundations because they break me out and oxidize (sp) so bad. I am now testing out Lancome Teite Idol in the color 450 which is a tad dark but when Im done the bottle I will get the next shade down. In Bobbi Brown I believe I was a 6. Didn't like the Nars TM because it made me look really greasy after a few hours.

I also do not wear MAC foundation, but BB #6 matches very well. My best match for drugstore brand is Loreal True Match in Creme Cafe (W8).
My favorite all time foundation that I wore for years was the custom one made up for me by Prescriptives. Sadly, the line was discontinued. The color truly melted into my skin.
