^Oh, that's unfortunate. Glad you like the pressed powder though.
If not already, you may want to start using a soap to lighten up the dark spots.

I'm MAC NW45 studio fix, can someone tell me what the equivalent shade in Nars powder foundation is?
I'm also looking for a Nars foundation with light to medium coverage for the summer months. Should I go for powder foundation or the sheer glow?

Update: I am a MAC 45, BB 6 Golden, Cover FX B25 and Iman Sand 2. I just purchased Ben Nye's Au Lait and it is a perfect match

Have you identified your undertone correctly? If and when I do wear MAC in the Mineralized Finish I'm NC45. But in other formulas i'm sorta an NC43/44. However, the absolute perfect match for me is Bobbi Brown #6 Golden. I have slight Olive undertones. An absolute cool or absolute warm base would never work for me. I'm Olive/Warm.

I also have a very Olive skintone. And want to hear something really crazy. My foundation that I use actually HAS a little bit of a green undertone to it. And it matches me PERFECTLY. I know totally crazy but it's my match. When I tried MAC it always ends up looking too orange. So it didn't work for me.

I use a buncha different stuff. My skin is so susceptible to change that any one product can be great one day and too orange or too pale the next, depending on how cold it is, what time of year it is, or how many blemishes i have. so far my perfect match (for MOST of the year) is neutrogena healthy skin liquid foundation.
Mac shows up slightly orange on me, too, but i bought the studio scuplt concealer anyways.

Hey. I am new to this site and still trying to get the hang of it. I don't own may foundations because I am just starting to get the hang of them. And I always seem to have a hard time picking the right color. I am trying to purchase MUFE HD Foundation and I wanted to do it online. I just don't know which to buy. I am between 170 and 173 . I've seen those colors in person and I think I am in between those or one of those. The only foundation that I feel like has matched me PERFECTLY is Revlon ColorStay in Caramel. I also have Maybelline Fit Me in, I believe, 320 - I like that one but at times I feel it is a bit "yellow/orange" but others tell me it looks like I have nothing on. Maybe it is just me. I tend to be picky about foundation -__- Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
