Call me old fashion but I feel that they are woefully underestimating the need for a father, a positive father figure that is constant in a child's life.

Girl that is not old fashioned logic. That's just common sense. It took both you to make the child, both of you should have some sort of bond that's strong enough to provide for the child under the same home. They are depriving their children. And then those children will grow up to believe this is the norm, and the cycle will continue. Ugh it's not even 12 and I'm pissed off lol.
