You keep saying this, but who said that barefaced people should not be happy, they should be sad or depressed?
How does insecurity play into this? A few #teammakeup posted our bare faces in that ttt thread.

No one said they should be sad or depressed. But the barefaced have been called "delusional", "stupid", "yucky", "unattractive", and other things in this thread. But it's cool...I'm gonna keep being barefaced and y'all can keep thinking I'm ugly (or excuse me, "unpolished"). Don't make me no nevermind.

Or the insecure who are upset that some may not consider bare face polished. |
obviously this is directed at me right? seeing as im the only one who is going back and forth with you guys who doesnt really wear it... and how you tried to say i was 'catching feelings' in the other thread
you can just quote my posts and direct your comments at me instead of this lil passive aggressiveness
and as i said, no one is upset nor catching feelings. we are simply doing what you call having a discussion because i really dont understand how ppl can believe that absolutely no one can look polished sans makeup
|
i stopped reading after this bc the answer is no. if it were directed at you i would have quoted you or said your name.

SL,
it seems like there is only myself, baby, and wonder who are consistently going back and forth about it.. but they wear it often. a few others have popped in and out. But she said in another thread last night that i was catching feelings at the suggestion that i dont appear polished.. i could be wrong though..
And i dont think baby was being passive aggressive. she said flat out in another post that these ppl are coming off as insecure..

My acne was just like on my cheeks. Accutane saved my skin, that drug is a God send. My husband does not believe me when I tell him how bad my acne was ( cystic.)

yeah wildfire that's one of the things i don't
like about true match now. i think my skin is changing (more oily now
which is very wierd because i was always more dry but since i have been
exfoliating more i notice a difference) and i notice oil in my
t-zone after a few hours. me no likey.
i also heard the iman (the one in the tube) is for dry skin so it may be a lil oily as well...

oh lawd.... how is clinique for WOC? Im kinda olive-ish ---maybe a Nia Long in the winter kinda shade...would i be able to find my match? makeup counters are so annoying...i get anxious and sweaty when they try to match me, and then nothing works....its not pretty
|
IMO
Clinique is actually good as they have a lot of shades that work for
WOC especially in the darker tones. For me I tend to be lighter in the
winter than the summer for obvious reasons. So I bought 2 shades, and
sometimes I mix them together. It's pretty lightweight actually. But
because I usually have to mix 2 shades to get my perfect shade...I don't
use clinique very often.

I thought baby was being a bit PA: she managed to agree with everyone but then kept promoting bare face as being the better of the two...it was a little weird. ETA: weird in terms of, sometimes agreeing with the most vocal/harsh of commentators on both sides while trying to come off as "not taking sides"...which ultimately, came off as taking a side on the low.
