b/c she doesn't have flawless skin

which is what I was asking earlier

b/c I honestly thought this thread, b/c of the pictures in the OP, was about make up and flawed skin

All the non-makeup photos look polished to me. They'd be fine for any situation, including black tie/dressy/work.

I look like a dark skinned with braids version of kimora's no makeup photo errday.

Make up no make up doesn't matter I like me with both. I think make up gives me an edge or smoldering look ehich i like depending on where I'm going. Me without make up I look "cutesy innocent "looking and I want to go for something different sometimes

I look way more pulled together with make up and it doesn't take a lot.

no need to continue.

yes, there are people who look just fine without makeup. but i do agree that make-up adds a little umph. a friend of mine has beautiful glowing skin, even tones, no blemishes, etc.  while she has great skin and can go without, she would still apply a little bit of blush, eyeliner & lipstick/gloss. it just adds that extra finish to her complete look.

wearing makeup does not mean you have to wear the full package of foundation, concealer, shadow, etc. etc. it could simply mean blush, eyeliner & lipstick/gloss.  i don't believe people have to wear powder and/or foundation specifically to look polished.
