I like makeup too but, I only speak for myself I don't need to tell the next women she will benefit from some makeup just because I like it, If you're happy with how your face is naturally, clear skin or not that that will always be a good thing to me, because you are accepting your skin for what it really is. Snide comments like she could use some blush and mascara is out of insecurity in my op. Let people be happy with natural look just like you're happy with makeup. That's all.

I rarely wear makeup to work. I work early mornings so I'm usually trying to get as much sleep as possible prior to waking up. So, getting up an extra hour to do makeup is not something I care for.
However, it's not uncommon to see me all dolled up when going out somewhere nice. Obviously, when wearing makeup I look more "polished." Like most African-Americans, I have a bit of discoloration in some areas and I've got the dreaded raccoon eyes (thanks Dad!).
I never feel like I NEED makeup but it doesn't hurt. As far as I'm concerned, at some point you will see me without it so what's the point of wearing it all the time? I'm a human being. My skin isn't perfect. You don't like it? Go buy me some RCMA when I run out and we can talk business. Otherwise, go fck yourself and keep it moving.

oh and i KNOW i would have looked even cuter with some popping lashes and maybe even a little lip gloss...so i get both sides of the debate. hmmmm...now that i think about it, i did wear some silly clown makeup when i was in hs. electric blue eye liner/mascara and wetnwild fushia (526 i think) lipstick that everyone was wearing back then. we looked crazy as hell and i think that is what made me stop wearing makeup for a while...lol

Wait baby are you talking to me?
Who is this she I told could use blush and mascara? Were y'all talking about someone specific, I wasn't.
Insecurity? I suppose that's shadeless, right. Insecure about what, who?

Y'all are tryna make it like this thread was just full of nicely suggesting/commenting about how one could look better with makeup.. But it was laid with shade Insinuating that ppl who don't wear it don't look polished, don't care about looking their best, and typically delusional.. Plus more I'm sure.. Didn't read the whole thread but these always go the same way.
Like some of y'all get offended when ppl comment about not needing it or something |
meh--team i dontwearmakeup was also throwing NW45 colored shade.

I was just answering your question and adressing the entire thread nothing you said.

Soap, deodorant and bathing aren't necessary either.
Body odor is natural so let's all walk around funky.

I feel the same way about wearing makeup to school.
