The FLOTUS Michelle Obama, dressed in full out spring colors for the first day of spring, brought Easter goodies to a few military families staying at Fisher House in Bethesda yesterday. 
Wearing a purple cardigan set with a pleated skirt and a strand of pearls, it was Mrs. O's second trip to Fisher House, where families live while our servicemen are treated at the Walter Reed Medical Center. Mrs. Obama spoke about Fisher House saying, it is just 'so important to families who are recuperating. As you can see, the houses are beautiful. And all around the country, they are as beautiful, welcoming and comforting as you guys are experiencing here." 
Bo roamed around the room and Mrs. O passed out Easter cookies shaped like the 4-year-old Portugese water dog. 
Our fab First Lady also helped the children with some Easter crafts and revealed that everyone would receive tickets to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on April 1. Nice! 
And as President Obama continues his first official trip to Israel to promote racial harmony, it's refreshing to see the First Lady holding down the homefront for the families of those who put their lives on the line. Fab! Photos via AP/Reuters/Getty
