Pumpkin spice is something entirely different, and something entirely delicious. The pumpkin spice craze that starts in October is greatly appreciated. However, pumpkin pie is mediorce at best. Even the good ones dont warrant a "damn, I would really appreciate some pumpkin pie right now."
I know it. You (Seducky) and LB know it. The whole world knows it. Stop tryna make pumpkin pie happen, it's never gonna happen.

Ohhhhhhhhhh...but it is happening. As we type millions are baking it, millions more are savoring a slice at this very second, and plenty of black folks enjoy the got damn creamy mild taste as it cha cha slides over our taste buds.
And...and...might I add. Pumpkin is actually celebrated during this season.
When's the last time you carved a sweet potato.  When's the last time you witnessed money fueled into sweet potato scented candles, air fresheners, coffee creamer, coffee, lotions and body sprays.
Don't hold your breath waiting for some tired ass sweet potato lime-light. Ain't gonna happen.
Why?
The sh*t is a potato for crying out loud. Mashing up a potato to make a pie? But I'm crazy
