Boiled some hair, thanks to this thread. Lol
Here's what I started with. Light yaki

I made medium sized two strand twists, rolled the tips with foil and rolled the hair around itself. Couldn't find perm rods. Lol
Also I tied with thread so it wouldn't unravel

Boiling with drops of extra virgin olive oil

After shampoo and condish

I tried boiling again this weekend. Sigh. The ends aren't AS frizzy but I two stranded the hair and then put on rollers, so the ends look like loose dreadlocks now. I'm considering just rolling the ends of the hair flat, using lattabody to make it stick together on the roller, and then covering with fiol, and boiling only the ends of each bundle. The wave pattern throughout the rest of the hair I'm okay with. It just made the hair thicker and more coarse, with loose waves, instead of silky straight, which isn't a bad thing.

Started with this Senghori Shells Natural Rhythms 14"
Wet pic. Boiled for 3 hours with HEHH conditioner & olive oil.
Fully Dried. I curled a piece using a curling wand to see if it would still hold a curl.
