it is a school with a large black population though...where we live is very mixed. i mean where dey do that at?!!!!
i wanna write an email calling her a basic unimaginative bish but i guess that would be rude. i need to woosah to throw some classy and eloquent shade.

That's even WORSE! How do you choose that book at all to teach black kids--unless you are examining the racism of the AUTHOR? I'd write several emails ad take myself to the school to have somebody explain something.

My daughter's Teacher sent 6 kids to the office for laughing at slavery. I never saw the movie .

BHM I am upset.
My 6th grade sister told me they are reading The Help for Black History Month at school.
I am BEYOND UPSET.
I am writing an angry email bc I am an angry black woman right now.
If they do not reply to my email I am rolling up there ready to bust some heads and throw some 'bows.
