I need assistance.  I am natural 4ab.  On occasions I like to wear u-part wigs or sew ins with a bit of my hair left out.  I have been noticing that the ends of my hair don't stay straight.  Even after a trim they still frizz/curl up making it hard for me to blend my hair with the weave.  The roots remain straight for a few days.  What am I doing wrong?  I have tried sabino moisture block but that does nothing for my ends.

Apply smaller than a dimes sized amount on ends and do the comb/brush chase method

Thank you.  I will give that a try tonight.

After your next wash and DC finish off with a ACV treatment all over your head and paying attention the the ends. Leave the ACV rinse on for about 3-4 minutes then rinse with cold water rinse under the water for at least 3 minutes. (time it) Then proceed with your styling. When you press chase it with a small tooth comb or brush....I had this problem out of my ends, and I cut them and it still was frizzy. The ACV solved my frizzy ends problem.

My ends frizz up as well. I started using BeautifulTextures pudding while my hair is still wet and then the flat-iron oil when I straighten and my ends don't frizz up at all anymore. But, I have to use both of the products to get that result.

Try pressing your hair with Ultra Sheen's Satin Press.

I work in small 2" wide by about 1/2" long sections. Apply an extra dab of serum on the ends and comb through with a rattail or fine tooth comb (whichever I have onhand)  before flat ironing in one pass. If you have a blow dryer with a cool setting, this will also help set your style.
