Well, we are just fine. No big crimes or anything like that. We did have some big news today but it is more of a celebration so

Yeah, its really when I began studying abroad that I began to notice how corrupt the western world is. I no longer find happiness in many of the things that my peers do and the issues plauging our nation seem to effect me more. I've become very emotional and prayer seems to only work minimally. I guess I can start by staying off social networking sites and wshh lol. |
I honestly have to block things out. I don't click on certain threads, I don't watch local news, I stay off of sites like wshh. I'm really selective about what I read and watch. I have to be because I literally get panic attacks after hearing about certain things or thinking about the state of the world and all the problems there are.

You're not the only one, but I never get why people say this. In America, things would have been worse in the past. So I think the "good ol' days" are exaggerated. I'm far less likely to be sold into slavery or lynched, the current state is better.
If you're asking how to accept evil exists in this world, yes, it's definitely hard to comprehend. I know Christians say it's the devil's work.

The only thing that's changed is that we have 24/7 news and the world wide web.

I had the worldwide web and news as a kid, cellphones were around then as well ,but not as much. I honestly feel as if things are just a lot worse. But I see that most peoples respond my avoidance and prayer so I will try those. Thanks!

I definitely don't agree with this. Violence and ratchetry has definitely escalated.
