i thought it was like a Friends thing...where no coloreds are ever shown in the background.  i havent paid attn to much about this show.

I thin the issue is that there are no main characters that are black in the storyline. It's like black people don't exist unless they are bums lol

Plus this comment by the writer of Girls (Lesley Arfin) rubbed people the wrong way, "What really bothered me most about Precious," she wrote, "was that there was no representation of ME."
