I did a search and didn't see a thread dedicated to this bountiful day!
To all the home cooks that will be cheffing it up Thursday, share your menu and/recipes.
For all the folks that are going to be chowing down, list some of your favorites you will be enjoying on this wonderful day...

How many of you brine your turkeys? I attempted last year, but it is a lot of work, and I don't think I had the right ratio of kosher salt to water...I was afraid it would end up too salty.

I'm not cooking but as far as I know my fam will be having:
turkey (both baked and fried) ham dressing macaroni greens chicken & rice sweet potato pie pound cake peach cobbler
I'm sure there will be a little more than that but that's all I remember off the top of my head

Yess almost forgot cranberry sauce. Also never had fried turkey...I want one so bad.
I know this might sound crazy, but I want to put a little jerk seasoning on my turkey...lol
