americans hate fruit cake/black cake

I boiled dried apricots, cranberries, cherries, raisins, currants and prunes in manischewitz blackberry and concord wine, cointreau, canton, white rum, meyers dark, absente, franco branco, I think that's it

let it cool and then poured some more over it and now it's soaking

was that for me? I was talking about the ham. I already know I hate fruitcake LOL. My mom used to make it. She loves that stuff. Too many different things in it for me to like.

my dad liked fruit cake too.

when you said 'soaking fruit' I figured it was for a fruitcake, but didn't want to assume. Either that or some  other liquored-up cake? lol

My husband wanted a "real" ham and Iberian ham is too rich for my blood

I went with the half aged ham from here

Some caribbean ppl hate it too me and my friends were just cussing about that damn fruit cake (more along the lines of - everyone wants to send you a cake or a chunk of cake and some off them taste soooooooooo bad or them too tough or them use a tuups of fruit LOL. Esp the wedding cake cause that just heavy and often times bitter b/c of too much browning LOL Not everyone can bake manCry

never in my life have i seen so much liquor in one mixture MERCIFUL FATHER I need some of that
