Girl, yes! Just nasty.

Today at church, the old woman sitting next to me was nice but her breath....Dead

I could smell it, even though her mouth was closed!

ShockedH MY GShockedSH! I know exactly what y'all mean. This is the worst kind. I mean for that shyat to escape through the nose is a whole nother level from the regular stank breath.

But lemme step back (no pun intended, lol) and try to be part of the solution. I've had to talk to some of my staff about this - grown folks, smokers, a really pretty girl who takes great care of her hair, nails, clothes etc. Often people with halitosis are just laughed at behind their backs & not told about the issue. Recognise that no-one wants to walk around making people want to hurl...only a small percentage are just plain careless about their hygiene. A lot of health issues can cause bad breath.

Solutions:
  1. Offer the person a mint or some minty gum etc. This will make them immediately realise they have a breath problem, without hurting them & you get to look kind and helpful.
  2. Sensitively ask someone if they are aware that they have "strong breath today". Use the word strong, rather than bad/stank etc. Its less offensive. Also say "today" to put them at ease & not make them think its a long-term thing you or others have been holding against them.

They need to yank out the offending teeth. The people must smell their own breath - how do they eat?
