there will always be "reasons" to use a gun when you have easy access to it

are people trained to shoot before seeing the assailant?

why must all shots be body shots ... can you shoot a foot or leg?

this poor child ... one the fear of an intruder/home invasion and now the guilt of killing his brother

It's the parents' fault. This is why I don't believe in having firearms in the house. They hurt people within the home more often than they do intruders. As many people that we know that have been harmed or killed by guns--how many do we know that have been helped? It really puts things in perspective.

Some years ago this also happened to a young man that was visiting home from college. He was mistakenly shot and killed by his own father. So unnecessary.

I can understand the fear and why having a gun in the house after all these home invasions and there have been plenty in my city. There are people who do this and set people up and crap, so I do understand the rational and believe me when someone ask you for your name in the house at night, you better answer.
