Disapproveomg i hope to god my hair isnt over processed ,,, i have some afro-like texture on some parts of my hair but its like "s" and my hair in general  is lighter (i'm not sure if i was always like that or what not, i think my hair was always a dark brown , just with the relaxer it brought out the brown more) in color especialy in my bangs area and i think it is bone straight wen air dried and frizzyDead

ok, after reading this thread I'm worried...

Last week I got a relaxer after a stretching for a while. I had also just taken out a sew in so my hair was still kinda tangled. Anyways before i realized it my hairdresser had that creamy crack on my whole head! I got a much needed trim so I can't tell if there's any damage, but now I 'm scared. Is my hair over processed now?! and if so, what can be done to fix it? (please don't say I have to cut off the rest of my hair)

Currently transitioning due to overprocessed hair. I lost my curl Cry. And my processed hair is half limp, half wavy. Castor oil helps to moisturize my dead ends. Cantu Shea Butter for my new growth. My hair is a big fan of protein based products.

Ok Im a little confused here. When you ladies say that the hair being lighter in a color is symptom, how much lighter do u mean? Because I thought that relaxed hair naturally got lighter over time because of the chemicals?
