I watch the show because I'm in school to become a sign language interpreter. I watch the signing for practice. When 2 Deaf characters are talking, I watch the signing and later (on demand) I see how it's translated. Sometimes I laugh because I see that the language has really been cleaned up (it's ABC Family, after all). Bay is a spoiled brat and her signing is terrible. I was hoping she's get caught tagging a wall and go to jail. Also, why does everything negative happen to Regina? And why aren't there more people of color in that town?

I can't believe no one posted about the ground-breaking episode tonight all in ASL. For those of you who don't sign at all, what did you think?
Story-wise, I thought it should have been stronger, but then again, a good old-fashioned protest is what you need sometimes.
Any thoughts????

You know, it's funny how I never really thought about that with Daphne. When Emmett was dating Bay, she wanted Emmett. Now that Bay is interested in Noah, she wants him. Maybe she thinks she should have Bay's life, since that was supposed to have been her life anyway. Regardless, she is flighty.
As for John, he is a controlling pain in the rear. Did he forget that these are just high school kids? I'm surprised he didn't ask them to call for the National Guard.
