   I watched a TEDtalk about a doctor who specializes in hormone therapies for prepubescent children.
He starts consulting trans children before they start puberty and starts to give them shots that will prevent them from going through puberty until they are old enough to really be sure they are transexual (I think he said 16).

Then he gives them the desired hormones so they grow a natural male or woman body and voice without surgery.

The only surgery they would need is to change sex organs.
