I have the liquid gold hair oil and I want to gain a couple of inches before Christmas. I was wondering should I use this if my scalp is already dry? Also, I have a caesar cut that I have been wearing for a few months, so It's hard to not get the sulfur on my hair. Should I wait until my hair grows out or would it be safe to use even if it will still get on my hair? TIA

Liquid gold has lots of oils in it. My hair is dry, straightened and colored and I used it with no problems on the scalp. You can also moisturize and seal the hair with products of your choice after anointing your scalp.
Go for it!

@Lady Thanks. I don't have much hair to moisturize. That's why I was saying when I use the LG, it's going to get on the little bit that I have. Confused

again. it is ok. My hair is both color treated and straightened and the mix make my hair TOO OILY not dry. Sulfur does not dry my damaged hair at all.

Yeah from what I've seen, liquid gold hair oil already has a lot of moisturizing oils in it, so this can benefit your dry scalp.
About not getting the oil onto your hair, you can try parting your hair and then applying the oil with your fingers or with an applicator bottle. Either way though, the oils might run down your hair strands (if you put a lot). You can try applying it at night and then cowashing it after, which can help increase blood circulation in that area.

Sorry I didn't reply back. Embarrassed

I apply the oil at night and try to wash it out before I got out the next morning, which sometimes doesn't work. When I get home, I'll wash it out.

I can't part my hair right now since it's so short, I just use the applicator and let it go. I think I use a lot, but when I use a little bit, my hair is dry the next day. When I use a lot, my scalp and hair is moisturized. So you must have to use a lot in order for it to work.Confused I don't know if I'll repurchase after I finish the bottle. I've noticed that the new Scurl works good for a dry scalp. Well, my dry scalp. Clap

I don't know if this is coming from the LG or what, but my scalp is flaking now. I can scratch it and it's flaky. My routine is to apply the LG at night and co wash in the morning. I've been using Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner. Am I doing something wrong? I mean, can you give some advice on what I should do? Should I stop using the LG for now? TIA
