    Posted: Mar 13 2008 at 12:40am
Today I mixed together about 2 teaspoons of powdered sulfur and 6 oz of castor oil. I plan to message a small amount of it into my scalp daily. Is this enough sulfur to increase my growth rate?

I have 2 inches of new growth (the last time I texturized was september or october of 07). I want 6 inches of natural hair by July so I can cut all of the texturized hair without it being drastic.

What kind of sulfur powder did you use and where did you find it?
Thanks

I'm not familiar with sulfur powder so I apologize if this question has been answered. Does the powder HAVE to be mixed with oil or can I add it to my S-Curl bottle since I use it daily?

Sulfur powder will not dissolve in water. It will only dissolve in oil. S-Curl is a water based moisturizer.  But, MSM powder is a form of sulfur that will dissolve in water, so you could mix MSM powder with S-Curl.  Sulfur should only be applied to the scalp to promote hair growth. Do you apply the s-curl moisturizer to your scalp? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yea I would also say dont apply it to ya S-Curl cause I am pretty sure that you use the S-Curl on ya hair and the sulfer needs to be on ya scalp only cause it can dry out the hair.
