Even before that, she has to exhaust her administrative remedies first, but her attorney will know that. If someone will help her for free, why not?

I think I told BHM how I was suck in dubai because I couldn't get a flight home.
A part of that story is, I could have gotten home sooner, but I would have been stuck in Russia, with a 3 day lay over.
I was more than good being stuck with in dubai, and waiting for another way. I have no interest in visiting racist Russia. I'd take the L and tat it on my chest. I thought the braxtons were foolish for visiting even with all the cameras.

Let's say she got the job... and while in Eastern Europe she is attacked/raped/mugged/beaten (take your pick) as she exits the premises... would she sue?
not trying to start anything, just asking?

Though I know subtle racism/discrimination is VERY hard to prove and nearly impossible to win, we should still try to let them know we can see through their tactics is every case. They had no right to mention nor try to educate your niece on the racism of Europe. It was out of line to bring up what MAY happen, it is your nieces job to educate herself on the subject matter. They are out of line, I believe she has a case.

And there's the rub. According to my niece, they didn't mention that skinheads target black people, or any specific group, though they did continually mention safety concerns. For all that we know, it could have been a concern that was brought to every candidate's attention.

That would have been a risk she'd be willing to take if she were offered the job and accepted. She's traveled to eastern Europe many times before in a previous position so she was fully aware of the potential threats.

Doesn't sound like a job I'd want.

that would make her an even better candidate since she is already familiar with that area (well for the most part)

It sucks but I'd take the L. Actual discrimination would be very difficult to prove. Like she said, they were careful not to say skinheads attack certain races in particular. And like someone already said, this could be a blessing

I would allow her to make the Decision . I hate to see young women that make good choices go through such a awful ordeal .
