Of course black folks think that way because alot of black folks ain't never had to worry about a bill that large. And then there's also those who, if they ever have had to worry about a bill that large probably don't pay it off and end up with bad credit because of it anyway.

True, but it's people in school who are told they don't even qualify for food stamps, which is unfair. How you gone be your best self if you can barely eat? I think if your name is on ALL your loans and you make less that $50000 a yr, you should get food stamps.

PK I'm about ready to tell Sallie Mae to go fck themselves if they don't leave me alone. I already deferred my loans AND told them I was still in school yet I keep getting harassed.

So many bc there's penalties for it, if u get it deferred or consolidate it, you cant get tuition reimbursement or apply for other programs sometimes.

As soon as ur out for 1 type of gov loan and 6 months i think for the other. 1 type doesnt accrue interest will in school, the other does.
