i read about this guy in south central who got a some kind of grant and installed solar panels on the roof of every home in a certain part of the neighborhood which is produccing enough electricity to not only power their own homes but get a check back from the power company.

i actually thought about this when i first came out of school.  thinking back i should have done it.  but i was still partly brainwashed...Cry

Fear of student debt is what kept me in CUNY so long, where I didnt have to pay anything. Now I'll be $36,000 in debt by the time I graduate. Luckily, I finished all my pre-reqs for free

I'm trying to find a job with tuition reimbursement. At this point, I honestly think that I'd be stupid to take out anymore school loans. People constantly say "Oh student loans are just like any other bill" Ummmm nah if your wages can be garnished then it isn't. Then also think about interest and late fees on a 50k loan.
