You shouldn't finance a 30,000$ car and have 400$ payments for 5-7 years when you only make 30,000 a year...and you shouldn't finance an education and have 200-1000$ in payments for the next 25 years when you don't even have a job.

Education used to be a way out, but once the 1% noticed that they made sure to jack up tuition costs to exorbitant prices and then sold the solution (loans). But they also made sure that the loans can't be discharged in bankruptcy and they buy politicians who vote against lowering interest rates. This is all big business so they can make money. That's it and that's all.

The most subversive thing a young person can do today is get a valuable education without paying for it and not take on any debt (student, car, mortgage, credit card, etc).

yup.  how the fucc you gone make me buy a book for $200 plus dollars then when I try to sell it back gone tell me you can only give me $20 fuccin' dollars?  then...then...you can't use the same book the next year cause the Professor is tellin' u that u need the revised edition when for real for real the only thing that is changed is they added a "the".

you're sure right maysay. Education now is right up there with Securities and Luxury taxes.

And then schools like to try to get you too. Trying to have special editions of books specifically for just that school so even if you wanted to go for the cheap route to save money by buying your books online you can't because the book is a special edition that can't be bought elsewhere SMDH

the crazy part is now that the middle class are losing jobs the economy has a hole in it. while the 1% and rich hold on and are posturing over their money.  They are still making strides income wise while the middle is falling in disproportional numbers.  I wonder what the next scam will be, lets see we can cross off the housing/real estate, stock market, student loans, FDIC...what  is next?

Food is up next. They won't be satisfied until niccas are back in the soup line fighting over bread crusts & porridge be cause they can't afford to buy groceries. Sadly, this will have to get worse to get better. Once you start toying with people's basic needs sh*t gets ugly.

Girl I swear my damn school is good for this mess too. My first year in college I made the mistake of buying all my books new from the book store. One of my books that I'd paid like $150 for they told me they could only give me like $1 back for the book yet when I sold it online I got like $60 back for it.

Bingo! I honestly feel like we are headed towards another great depression sadly. I feel like I need to start a garden and stock up on gas in a bunch of gas cans every time it's cheap so I don't have to worry about spending so much money on groceries and gas with the way prices on everything keeps rising
